Thank you for being part of this special spiritual initiative. Below are answers to commonly

asked questions about the Hanuman Chalisa Learning Program.

1. What is the purpose of the program?

The purpose of this program is Loka Kshemam—the welfare and well-being of our

community and children. Through learning and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, students will

imbibe the noble qualities of Lord Hanuman while developing devotion, discipline, and

resilience. Group chanting also elevates positive energy and spiritual vibrations within the

community.

2. Where and when is the program happening?

The culminating group recital event will be held on

📍 OM Hindu Community Center

 📅 August 29, 2026

A detailed event schedule will be shared closer to the event date.

Students will attend mandatory weekly classes led by their assigned Acharyas to learn

Hanuman Chalisa.

3. Is there a fee for the program?

No. The program is completely free.

Families who would like to support this initiative may make a voluntary Contributions here.

4. Will the students recite Hanuman Chalisa as a group?

Yes. This is entirely a group recital program. Participation in the final event is mandatory, as

it marks the culmination of the learning journey. Students will perform the Hanuman

Chalisa as a group in the presence of Shri Kalyanapuram S Aravind.

 

5. What are the class timings?

Class timings vary based on each Acharya's schedule.

Each Acharya will share :

• Class timings

• Zoom meeting links

• Practice schedules

• Other program-related updates

Communication will happen through the respective WhatsApp groups

6. Who is my child's Acharya?

Parents should have already received this information.

If you have not yet been added to an Acharya's WhatsApp group, please contact the program

coordinator:

7. Why are there multiple groups?

We use two types of WhatsApp groups for smoother communication:

 

Main Program Group

Used for announcements related to the overall program and final event.

Individual Acharya Groups

Used for communication between the Acharya and parents of students in that specific

learning group.

8. Will my student receive a certificate at the end of the program?

Yes. Each student will receive a certificate at the final event after the group recital.

9. How is my student's progress tracked?

Each Acharya will track:

• Attendance

• Learning progress

• Recitation accuracy

• Overall participation

Personal guidance and individual attention will be provided to help every student progress

successfully.

10. What Hanuman Chalisa tune will my student learn?

Students will learn the Hanuman Chalisa in the tune popularized by legendary Bharata

Ratna Smt. M. S. Subbulakshmi.

 

11. Where can I find the PDF and recordings?

The Hanuman Chalisa PDF, can be accessed here. The audio recordings will be added to this

webpage.

12. What are the eligibility criteria to attend the program?

Students should be at least 5 years old to participate. No prior knowledge of music or the

Hanuman Chalisa is required.
