Namaskarams,
With humility and respect, we, as a newly formed organization, wish to share a concern that has deeply affected many families here in New England.
Our organization has been established with the mission of serving the community during some of life’s most difficult and sacred moments. We are committed to supporting families in performing antyesti and ancestral rituals in accordance with our dharma.
However, one of the most pressing challenges we face—especially during the winter months—is the lack of a proper indoor space to conduct these rites.
In the absence of a dedicated facility, many of these important rituals are carried out in garages or temporary arrangements. While families do their best under the circumstances, it is often difficult to maintain the sanctity, comfort, and dignity that these ceremonies truly deserve.
Our scriptures and traditions emphasize the importance of performing these rites with care, devotion, and in the right environment. As a community, it is our shared responsibility to ensure that these sacred duties are carried out in a setting that brings peace to both the departed soul and their loved ones.
With folded hands, we humbly seek the support of our community to help establish a dedicated indoor space for these rituals. Such a space would serve families throughout the year—especially during the harsh winter months—providing a sacred environment where traditions are preserved and families can find solace without hardship.
Support in any form will be a blessing toward this meaningful cause. Together, we can build something that will serve our community for generations to come.
